MOB also stands for 'Maker of Burda'. After reading the raves of these designs from so many other talented sewers in the blogesphere I've decided to join the crowd. My first project will be from the July 2010 issue, caftan and pull on pants from the Plus section. The goal is to fit and finish the project in time for my New York trip next month.
On the mother of the bride front, I am working on designing 3D organza daffodils, pending approval of the bride, these will be used for table and bar decorations next year.

I am a MOB (mother of the Bride) past, present, and future. Four daughters, one married, one engaged and 2 single. This is my way of keeping track of progress and projects on my way to sanity! On top of a wedding in 9 months, my DH and I are anxiously awaiting the birth of our first grandchild in two months AND a weight loss journey that will rid us of one plus sized super-model! Oh and I sew and knit and garden.
